Topics often featured the video content that I created, but we also featured weekly recipes, monthly reviews of equipment by a novice barista and coffee industry news.
Collateral | Seattle Central College
In partnership with Seattle Central's yoga program, I created three pieces of collateral outlining different yoga stretches for the morning, afternoon and evening. I hired and worked with an illustrator to create the pose illustrations, then created the print-ready PDFs for download and distribution.

As part of a customer education initiative, this how-to guide was developed to provide folks with an easy reference guide in caring for their espresso machine. I developed the content and provided guidance to the freelance designer, resulting in a print-ready postcard sized piece that was included with all new espresso machine purchases.

Based on extensive research and interviews with coffee industry experts, I wrote this article to help customers of Seattle Coffee Gear better understand the origin of their coffee beans. Topics covered included plant varieties, growing & harvesting, roasting theory, general coffee bean flavors by region and a brief explanation of the science behind roasting and brewing coffee.

I founded Seattle Coffee Gear's YouTube channel, establishing the brand tone, editorial calendar and production approach. Throughout my tenure, new videos were posted Monday through Friday, and topics included product reviews, buyer's guides, technical tips, recipes, how-to guides, interviews with industry experts and field trips to different places of interest. Our channel became so successful within this niche industry that we were regularly approached by product manufacturers to provide product reviews and assist with new product testing and launches. The channel grew organically to nearly 25k subscribers and nearly 2 million unique views.

Maison is a hospitality company, specializing in vacation rental properties in Seattle, WA, and Lakeside, MT. I worked with the team to gather their needs and identify their brand, then created their logo and built their website using WordPress. I also provide support to the Distance Education and Innovations College teams, developing advertising programs and supporting internal communications initiatives.

Stories on which I worked focused on AkzoNobel, Delta Airlines, Feeding America, PageGroup, SharpCloud, Thule, World Wildlife Fund UK and Ziosk.

My work with Off the Wall is focused on identifying and facilitating marketing and operations improvements that will support the school's scalable growth over time. To that end, I have managed a variety of projects from research to implementation, including updating their website, upgrading their internal customer service tools and improving their billing processes and procedures.

I established Seattle Coffee Gear's email marketing program, including a monthly informational and sales/promotional email as well as weekly emails with content specific to different interests. I managed the content creation, design and delivery of all emails throughout my tenure.
Infographics | Seattle Coffee Gear
I came up with the concepts for these three infographics, designed to provide more information to our customers about coffee, the different types of drinks and how much they'd save on making their coffee at home. I researched all of the information referenced on these infographics, wrote the copy and worked with a freelance designer to produce print-ready versions of these pieces. The Big Directory of Coffee Drinks was also produced as a full size wall poster that was available for sale.
Marketing Strategy | Biz Kid$
I devised a comprehensive, strategic social media marketing plan for Biz Kid$ to help them improve their overall social media presence, as well as to develop a tactical plan in support of their book launch. The plan development was rooted in an assessment of their current social media activities, competitive and industry leader analysis, and demographic research. The strategy included recommended platforms, best practices regarding content, posting and community management, suggested performance metrics and recommended tools to manage content creation, distribution and relationship management.
